How to unlock NSFW content on X (Twitter)

If there's any place I like to visit for watching porn videos and NSFW content in general, that would be X (Twitter).

How to unlock NSFW content on X (Twitter)

There’s no doubt that X.com (previously Twitter) is one of the best places on the internet to find NSFW content right now. From completely nude content to porn videos and GIFs, content creators who promote their OnlyFans account exclusively from X to even exploring the thousands of accounts, lists, and specific hashtags, Elon Mask’s platform has it all.

Don’t get me wrong, I still visit the good old classic porn websites, but not as frequently as I did before finding the “secret NSFW world” of X. Before changing its name from Twitter to X after Musk’s accusation, many thought that this might result in a similar way that we saw Tumblr take, although for different reasons. I’ve been using Twitter long before since Elon Musk took over, and I’ve always had two different accounts, one as my personal profile, and just for porn – which, of course, is anonymous.

But what makes it so different from, let’s say, popular porn websites? Well, first and foremost you’ll mostly see short content, which is different than the traditional videos that you see. Second of all, depending on the number of accounts that you’ll be following, you can have two different feeds on your home page, including one that only has content from the accounts that you follow, and one for exploring even more content from similar accounts. You kinda build the feed that you want and it mostly shows up posts based on your taste.

If you’re new to X, then you won’t be able to access an NSFW account or see any related images or videos on your feed. To change that, you can log in to your account, and click on More -> Settings and Privacy -> Privacy and Safety -> Content You See, and uncheck the option “Display media that may contain sensitive content“. On the same page, you can also adjust your preferred Topics, which will play a role in what you’ll be seeing more often – and the same goes for the Interests section.

Now, just because X allows NSFW and pornographic content, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have some rules in place. For example, if you’re going to be liking, commenting, sharing, or interacting in any way with such content, then you’ll have to mark your account as “sensitive”. To do that, click on More -> Settings and Privacy -> Privacy and Safety -> Your Posts -> and enable the “Mark media you post as having material that may be sensitive” option. Once you do that, no one will be able to find your account if they haven’t enabled the option to display sensitive media from their settings – but everyone else will.

Once you’ve enabled all those options, you can start searching for anything niche-related, NSFW artists, models, OnlyFans creators, and random accounts with thousands of followers that post many new pictures and videos every day. And if you’re wondering, removing NSFW content isn’t part of the platform’s plans.

It’s important to note that, for online safety reasons, I suggest that instead of clicking inside the player of a video, use its buttons to play or pause it. Sometimes they add links that redirect you to a third-party website full of ads. I don’t know if the platform removes them each time it detects those links, but I’ve been seeing them very often, so care.

Also, the community of X is not always that friendly, so make sure to keep your private information anonymous – except if you’re a model, or influencer, among others who post NSFW content.
